First Canon art!

Title: The Silver Lining
Characters: Harry/Ginny
Media: Photoshop and Wacom Tablet
Rating: PG
Notes: Well, you guys decided! This is my first ever Canon art. I honestly wanted to draw something that isn't H/G for a change, but what can we do about this pair? I love them, you love them, and we can never get enough of them, right? Right.


Chapter 7, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

"She took a step closer to him.
'So then I thought, I'd like you to have something to remember me by, you know, if you meet some veela when you're off doing whatever you're doing.'
'I think dating opportunities are going to be pretty thin on the ground, to be honest.'
'There's the silver lining I've been looking for,' she whispered, and then she was kissing him as she had never kissed him before, and Harry was kissing her back, and it was blissful oblivion better than firewhisky; she was the only real thing in the world, Ginny, the feel of her, one hand at her back and one in her long, sweet-smelling hair..."

Yey, another fabulous version of the Happy 17th bday kiss aka silver lining.

I love all the details, Gwenog, Weird Sisters, esp the way H/G clings to each other, their hands, lips, oh so lovely :)

Gorgeous -- great work. I love Harry and Ginny, of course, but the background is beautiful as well.

Most of all, I love their pose - very passionate! Secondly, nice shading! I particularly like the arms, and your hands and fingers are especially well done! You even thought of wallpaper!

Love it! There can never be enough 17th birthday kiss art. :-D

Oh, and one more thing I particularly like - you have their heads tilted. So often the artists just smash the faces together straight on, and that's not how people really kiss, especially when they're "firewhiskey" type kisses!

Wow. This is absolutely awesome! I love any and all variations of this moment in DH but this one is so great for the little details; the wallpaper, the way Harry's hand is cupped around Ginny's head, and the visible bra strap o_0 (which for some reason makes me grin like a fiend :D). I also like the different tones and highlights you gave to Ginny's hair - very natural.
